J.Maiers CPA, LLC opened its doors on December 20, 2015 along the shores of the Mississippi just below the Sartell Dam when Joe left his former company to start his own practice – a practice based on providing clients the services they need at a price commensurate with the value they receive. Joe had the good fortune of working at the Spaniol and Good practice with John Spaniol and his team after the untimely passing of his partner, Ron Good. It was there he experienced how this type of practice could truly work.

In June of 2016 we moved into the former Spaniol & Good office on 4th Ave S. in Sartell after their merger and the subsequent closing of that office.  Melissa joined our staff in December of that same year. In January of 2018 Russell Bialke merged his practice in with ours and we continued to grow with the additions of Vicky and Nicole to the team. We added Renee in September of 2020, Kristin in August of 2021 and Jennifer in August of 2022.

We are a small office with a team closer than many families. That is why the untimely death of Renee in June of 2022 hit us so hard. She will be forever missed and never forgotten!

Our team brings a great mix of education and experience in our fields of practice; business and personal income tax, sales tax, payroll and bookkeeping, QuickBooks online and desktop, and a familiarity with many other software applications.
